This year the Sequim Association of Realtors would like to congratulate our two American Home Week Contest Grand Prize Winners Ryan Begley from Greywolf Elementary School, and Samuel Dickson from Helen Haller Elementary School. Each received a a $100 Savings Bond, a bicycle and a helmet from the Sequim Association of REALTORS®. Luke Silliman, Chloe Adams, Amanda Murphy, and Gabi Simonson each received First Prizes including at $100 Savings Bond, a scooter and a helmet. Second Prize winners Haley Carmichael, Stephanie Lemus, Noelle Bittner, Soraya Frutos, Hannah Caline O'Leary, Canaan Johnston, Madison Millet, and Johnathan Stipe each received a $50 Savings Bond, a scooter and a helmet. Twenty-two Third Prize winning children each were presented with a $50 Savings Bond.
Each year the Sequim Association of Realtors sponsors American Home Week and the "What My Home Means to Me" poster and essay contest. This year the Sequim Association of Realtors would like to thank First Federal Savings & Loan, Peninsula Mortgage, Jo Cummins, Pacific Coast Escrow, Olympic Peninsula Title, John L Scott, and Pete Rutherford, Michael Millet for their generous contributions to American Home Week.
We also would like to thank all the third graders who participated for their heart-warming posters and essays, and the Third Grade Teachers for their unfailing support over the years. We recognize Mrs. Wall of Helen Haller as the REALTORS®' "Best Teacher in School" and Mrs. Burke at Greywolf. Each will receive a gift certificates to Home Depot provided by the Sequim Association of Realtors.
We thank each of our contributors for their continued support and congratulate all of the prize winners on a job well done. All the children were honored at the weekly meeting of the Sequim Association of Realtors, by a standing-room only crowd Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009.
